Back again today, are ye? I am and with something I'm very proud of. There are lots of reasons for me to be proud of this and you're just going to have to sit there while I tell you all of them. First of all, this is the first more or less completely accurate reproduction of an actual Mary Magdalene dress I've ever actually made. Secondly, I chose as my subject my very first lolita dress, which is very special to me (and not only because it is so absolutely gorgeous in person). Thirdly, and maybe the biggest one for me here, is that every bit of this dress from start to finish was hand painted by me. This includes the signature poppy ribbon pattern on the dress, which I painted by hand with my own dress as reference. The results of this hand painting are so nice in game. It really does look like the real thing. I'm as pleased as punch.

Okay, enough with the self-appreciation society and onto the details.





This dress is available in the three colors Mary Magdalene originally offered it in : Leaf, Plum, and Pink. The plum and pink colors do look close in screenshots, but you can tell the difference between them in game, and the actual MM dresses themselves are quite similar in color too, if you check the reference images. The plum is a bit richer and the pink is a more faded antique. Plum has a plum pattern and the pink has a more antique rose look. Leaf is my favorite color, naturally.





This dress is fully shirred, so if your sim doesn't have a twenty-six inch waist, do not despair. They can still fit into this particular confection. The underskirt to this dress is kinari, or unbleached wool. This is also authentic to the original. The socks are off-white knee-highs with a matching pattern, in the fashion of Innocent World socks. The shoes are cute and brown and close-toed These wedge style heels are very illustrative of the less ostentatious shoes offered by Baby and Victorian Maiden and even MM itself.

You will need Tomang's excellent lovely Violet dress mesh for this dress to work in your game. Be sure to grab it because it's a very lovely and authentic shape.
